Come check out the hops growing at the REACH!⁠ ⁠ Did you know that hops were originally used with other flowers and herbs for their antibacterial purposes? Brewers today use Humulus lupus for their flavor and aroma, and to keep unfavorable bacteria out of beer.⁠ ⁠

NEW Painted Rock found at the REACH! Have you found any painted rocks lately?

You may have seen these strange looking posts at the Museum. They're actually bat boxes! When natural roosts are scarce due to habitat destruction or fragmentation, man-made structures provide a helpful alternative. Thank you to the boy scout who built them!

Now that there's water back in the pond, there's loads of new animals at the REACH. Come on over and see for yourself! *Please do NOT go in the pond. There is a walking path for your use.
