Well done to my year 11 learners - I’m seeing real progress in their creative writing after a couple of very intensive weeks working on it!

Most recent craft club saw us having a go at diamond art. An hour isn’t nearly long enough so the students took their projects home - one came back completed and look how fab it is in a frame!

Two walks have been on my bucket list for decades - Top Withens which inspired Wuthering Heights, and Glastonbury Tor. We did the former a few years ago and finally, today (having been to Glastonbury several times but never feeling fit enough to make the climb) I did it today.

Busy craft club session this afternoon with lovely results.

Our school united in an Act of Remembrance today. Learners were respectful, Head Students read a fitting poem, and Mrs Pilkington played The Last Post. Joined by Mr Wade Lyn CBE DL WMLieutenancy , Yardley Primary School, Summit Learning Trust Trustees and community.

Watched the sun go down on 2025 at Brandon Marsh. The starlings were teasing the audience this evening, firstly gathering away from the usual viewing platform then appearing to settle before reappearing to murmurate once more when almost everyone but us had gone.
