Just got home from the little mini-rove to EN33. I put on some extra miles to find a good high spot - 434m elevation (1428 ft) with a great horizon to Europe. Also climbed on the tailgate for added elevation. (See attached pic. ) Thanks for all the calls!

We had another visit by Wyoming friends today as super rover R.J., WY7AA, and Paula, AF7DJ, stopped by on their trip east. To make it even better, we were joined by another super rover, Mitch, Mitch Ahrenstorff (not pictured) Kylee Shirbroun Grid Chasers GridMasterHeatMap Amy_Shirb

Not sure what grid I will be in for the 2127z RS-44 pass tomorrow (2 Aug) but will give it a try: DN53 or DN52. Listening for Europe after 2141z - very low. This is in addition to the previously scheduled RS-44 pass at 2317z from DN52. Grid Chasers GridMasterHeatMap #hams.at.

Thanks to James MI0ILE and Peter (2M0SQL) for the calls from across the pond! Not the best horizon due to the ridge a few miles away - this was my view to the northeast. I’m baffled by the ops that insist on calling stations on my downlink frequency whom I’ve just worked! Oh well…

I am tentatively planning to make a run up to DN42 this afternoon (3 August) if we get to our campground in time. RS-44 at 2149z. Very short window to a small area of Europe - don’t what my horizon will be. Grid Chasers GridMasterHeatMap #hams.at (N0GVK is aware.)

All sat QSOs have been uploaded to LoTW from my laid-back roving excursion (family vacation) to SD & WY. Let me know if you see an apparent discrepancy. Thanks again for all the calls. It is a blast to hand out new grids - now up to 121 VUCC/r. Grid Chasers GridMasterHeatMap
