Big love in the big house today as many family gathered for Thanksgiving feast though missed absent members. Two turkeys for ten: leftovers.

Turkey sandwich today with cranberry sauce and horseradish (a poor man’s Mother Stamberg relish) was the most delicious part of Thanksgiving

We brought in cherry wood from dead tree. Youngers took down screens on ocean side. More tomorrow to prepare and close the house for winter.

Washing sheets and towels, divvying food, skimming stock, a quick vacuum, drop cloths over furniture and the family house is now put to bed.

I have holes, many holes, in the fingers of my left hand from inadvertently poking with the tapestry needle. Intense progress being made now

Scrambling here to get more needlepoint canvases blocked, trimmed, and prepared for framing before deadline for Yancey solo show in January.

Walls for storage went up today. Trim installed for doors. Met with contractors on site. Kitchen plans. Even the carpenters say we are close

We went to MFABoston today with Mom and Dad to see Sargent show and my work in photography show. Lunch at Gardner Museum. Such fun with them

Got the second half of my show to the framer today. Visit with Ben on Brattle St for tea and a fire. And needlepoint. HHs dinner at The Quin

Balls in the air, managing and breathing better now. All good—just…if the possibility to get more done is ever present, how do we not do it?

Quintessential rainy Sunday. After making a batch of the English Almond Toffee I updated website, made soup, needlepointed by the warm fire.

A day of highs and lows. Struggled to get framer to commit to dates I thought were set. Lovely call with Streeter. Then took CP in. Waiting.

Highlight of the day was watching A. teach his social studies (we need a new term for this) class after a dining hall lunch—not bad, so fun!
