Danica Priest🦇🦎🦇🦎🍃💚🍃 Countryside act 1981 an offence intentionally to kill, injure or take any wild bird, or take or destroy their eggs or nest, or damage a nest, while that nest is in use or being built’. So this farmer or individual is breaking the law. The local Police need to look into it.

Really? Local farmers? They were up before dawn to drive 200 tonnes of municipal waste compost to dump it on this ancient meadow and #skylark nesting site - including CUTTING THROUGH the actual farmer’s padlock on his gate and driving across his meadow - and nobody paid them?

I look forward to Roots Allotments being prosecuted under Wildlife & Countryside Act for knowingly trashing skylark nesting sites in nesting season. It’s a potentially unlimited fine, six months imprisonment, possibly both.
