Work has officially begun on Merrymount Parkway! The plans to enhance the parkway will bring to life Frederick Law Olmsted’s vision. Plans call for burying utility lines underground, installing historic-period lighting and planting new trees to give the road a true parkway feel.

Spend some time outdoors this weekend at Nut Island! The waterfront greenspace offers walking paths and a beautiful view of the Boston Harbor Islands. It serves as a picture perfect picnic spot and is an ideal area to bike with young kids or to play in the sunshine with your dog.
