Met one of my favourite DTU professors in the train on my daily commute. Sad to hear that she recently quitted her job and found another place to work, but extreme passion seems to be requisite if an academic career in Denmark is deemed attractive 😥.

Thanks for the invitation to present my work for the TC127 WG5. Due to the flex-seating at DBI, I’m sitting within the box the full day. It’s well ventilated and noise cancelled. I grabbed some food during the single coffee break 😀.

Jens Kristensen, Benjamin Jacobs, & Grunde Jomaas are the winners of the 2023 Harry C. Bigglestone Award, which is given for a paper published in Fire Technology that best represents excellence in communicating fire protection concepts. Kristensen accepted the award. #NFPAConf23

Today was a good day! Back in the lab for limited "fun-runs" AND almost sourced a second hand bomb calorimeter from DBI's testing department 😛. Fingers crossed that both things will succeed on the long run 🤓.

Today my management told me not to hide behind their titles when telling an int., multi-bn.-profiting, company that I can’t give a presentation to hundreds of their employees on non-commercial terms. It actually feels pretty good to stand up for myself and my knowledge 🤷‍♂️.
