C.P. Allen High School will be collecting donations this week for families displaced due to the wildfires. On Sunday between 12 and 2 you can drop off gift cards, new cosmetics and toiletries, school supplies and chargers. Thank you for your support.

Congratulations to the Dalhousie Fall 2023 graduates as they embark on their next life adventure. We are especially proud of this graduate as he starts his new career in nursing at the VG!

We used some of the veggies from our Nourish Your Roots veggie box and made Thanksgiving Soup. We invited our grade 2 learning buddies to join us for a taste test. It was delicious! @HRCEHealthPromo Nourish NS

On the taste testing menu this week…apple crisp! The class chopped the apples and made some to taste test in class. It was so yummy! Each child made one to take home to bake and share with their families. Hope you enjoyed it!

Thank you to NS Agriculture for their support with the ‘all about apples’ program. The class used their 5 senses for the activity and they loved taste testing the different varieties of apples and listening to the ‘crunch’ the apple made as they bit into it!
