40 new Vikings and 18 new Saxons recruited from Rendell Primary school this afternoon. They’ve each learnt some Old Norse words, how to defend themselves during a Viking raid, and what happened at Lindisfarne ⚔️

After receiving a warning from the Saxon warrior last week, we got to meet Bjorn The Great who’s getting ready to invade Rendell. He wants us to join his Viking army and taught us lots of facts and skills. We had lots of fun! #primaryrocks #vikings #remotelearning Blue Kazoo

Year 5 had an intriguing but exciting start to their Crime & Punishment project yesterday. A mysterious 'break-in' led to a police investigation with fingerprint analysis, chromatography and a chemical reactions experiment. Thank you to @CharnwoodPolice for joining us.

Yet more interactive science in year 4. This time we modelled the process of the digestive system. We used a zip lock bag filled with banana, crackers, orange juice and water for the stomach. Then, tights for the intestines. Lots of fun had! #science #primaryrocks #primaryscience
