If you think Bangalore is unwalkable, just wait till you hit Gurgaon. Walking from Iffco chowk metro to Galleria at 9 PM was one of the worst decisions I've made in years. Unwalkable in every way.

Finally got to eat at Krishna Cart and the famous beetroot (pink) dosa. While the beetroot dosa was very good, the bath masala dosa was absolutely superb - amongst the best bath masala I've had. Strong recommendation! Down the road from Bengaluru Cafe Jayanagar.

SS Bajji Kendra, Jayanagar 4th block. Close to Maiyas/Kedia fun foods. Not only were the bajjis (10+ variants) tab, the bhajji chaats or masala bhajji was absolutely yum! Top notch local Bangalore street food experience! Strong recommendation

my theory is that Indian civilization was once pristinely clean and wealthy. 200 years under slavery made everyone poor. poverty doesn’t allow you to think about shared spaces or anything beyond survival. so we ended up with what we have now (mostly unclean public spaces)
