Just to make you aware on Sunday 14th November Poynton’s Remembrance parade will be taking place. The parade starts from the Civic Hall Car Park at 09:35hrs and concludes at 11:35 hrs. Brief road closures will be in place, please expect delays or look for an alternative route

School parking patrols have been carried out this week. We have received a number of complaints from residents about vehicles parking on the yellow zigzags, blocking driveways/parking on grass verges and obstructing junctions. Please THINK where you park #RoadSafety

Speed enforcement was carried out yesterday on London Road North. 10 drivers will be hearing from us for excess speed, with one driver captured at 55mph. This driver will be expecting a day in court and is likely to lose their licence. #SlowDay #Fatal5

This week we have attended Pott Shrigley Church School to talk to the children about Road Safety, they had excellent knowledge and we were able to put this in to practice by going out and showing good awareness when crossing the road outside of the school #RoadSafety
