Post management let us know they will NOT voluntarily recognize our union & are refusing to meet with Tech Guild leaders about election details. This is unacceptable. Today, we held a picket in partnership with our Washington Post Guild colleagues to demand that the company listen to us.

Today we delivered a letter on ground rules for our upcoming election to Jay Kennedy, head of labor relations. Given The Post’s disappointing decision to refuse to voluntarily recognize our union, we are asking them to agree to basic ground rules to ensure a free & fair election.

It's remote work week! Our members deserve flexibility in how we do our work. The Post is forcing us back into the office in June five days a week. We demand the right to keep remote work. Here is why remote work is important to us: (1)

It took management five months to tell us they’re offering NO increase to our salary floor. Meanwhile, the cost of living in NYC is higher than ever. We deserve livable wages so we can afford to keep making the magazine we love. Please support our fight for a fair contract!
