Some nice work led by Jason, together with David Green at Halmstad. The work part of arguably a more fruitful Anglo-Swedish partnership than AZ - if the argument was being made by an unreasonably drunk person. Well done all!

A beautiful present was extremely well received during a 7 hour online meeting today! Somehow I managed to resist the urge to uncork mid-Teams

Back to the drawing board. The 'I literally just told you' workshop format, which was looking promising as a nice compromise between flipped learning and conventional workshops, will have to be cancelled after only its second outing. Thanks Jimmy!

Blimey, looks like we're here for the long haul. The wait on a busy Saturday night must be spectacular! Still, at least Boris can eat a bacon sandwich with neatly (possibly), and doesn't have a glass eye, so who cares about hospital waiting times?

It was a real privilege to give a talk at the fabulous React CDT summer school near Windermere. I think that the talk went down OK but hopefully the rafts stayed afloat later on! Oh to be a PhD student once again.....

Two great books arriced in the post today. Some of the words are a bit complicated but they both contain very pretty pictures. Thanks to Jason Rowley

Not the greatest class attendance this morning, but when you are up against Morocco Vs Croatia, in a time of World Cup fever, what can you do? (apart from showing the match on the big screen....)
