So much of the conflict in my life would have been resolved easily if people did this. All I ever asked for. All I can say is that I am grateful to be around people willing to do this now. It makes all of the difference. #Gratitude

I'm trying to wash off all of the nonsense others have attached to me or I have attached onto to see what's really there underneath the surface. Who is she? Who am I? That's who I'm trying to converse with and guide through the healing process. That person deserves the world.

I am still extremely passionate about fighting against ableism in all forms. Not just the obvious cases, but the ones people like to overlook and dismiss as well. That has always been burning inside of me since childhood. It's a part of who I am. It's what has remained always.

I think as I become more confident and content with myself my messages about my personal experiences of ableism (and a lot of times racism) and the knowledge I have been gaining over the years will have more reach. That's a goal, but not a primary focus for now. Healing is.

I have been accomplishing a lot of "hard things" lately and it has felt good. I think I am in the best place I have been mentally even if other things have gotten worse. That's a win. Always take time to appreciate how far you have come on a personal level. It will surprise you.

All my engagements on social media now are just me encouraging and appreciating people for their vulnerability. I want people to know how impactful it is, even in little bursts. I see how important it is every day. It is what I never want to lose sight off in this life.

Growth is lonely because you have to let go of the version of yourself that most people took for granted. You have to let go of people who you thought would always be there. I have to remind myself that growth is worth it. It is worth it to be the strongest version of myself.

I overcame another hurdle yesterday and it ended up being one of the best days of my life in terms of growth. I'm incredibly grateful and I want to keep pushing my boundaries in every way possible. I love who I am becoming and I hope others will too. #gratitude #autistic
