I found it interesting as well, but also fairly one-sided. Ross Tucker has a few episodes that give what was imo missing in their story, eg pca.st/episode/7fdabc… And pca.st/episode/dab7d3…

This is an example of what is often referred to as a "strawman" rhetorical technique. I didn't suggest a "correct historical method" - yet Alonso Gurmendi did so for me & then proceeded to refute "my" point w/his own view. This is a common tactic in debate, though not particularly

Alonso Gurmendi Hamas’ Oct 7 policy has led to: - 40k dead Palestinians - Gaza, Khan Yunis, Rafah destroyed - Hezbollah decapitated - Iran exposed as impotent - All prospects for future peace & prosperity vanquished Unrestrained terror has shown it’s obvious uselessness.

At some point in the future, I'll share a presentation that goes through male vs female physiological differences and the biological reality of sport, to explain what some have (wilfully) misunderstood. But for now, here's a pen review of this absurdity promoted by British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM)

"Both in Israel and the United States in different ways, the Jewish community is structured to basically make the existence of a Jewish state, a state that privileges Jews over Palestinians, sacred." Peter Beinart discusses his book, "Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza."

Israel has rapidly accelerated its destruction of Rafah in April and May. It's hard to understand the magnitude of this, even when spending time analyzing recent satellite imagery. From me, Samuel Granados, Aaron Boxerman, and Riley Mellen. Gift link: nytimes.com/interactive/20…

Nick Mad Mikkelsen ⚔️🏴☠️ Roman Sheremeta 🇺🇸🇺🇦 My hypothesis about this is that Ukraine in NATO was a long time red line. Ie none of the Russian calculations were about either an *imminent* threat (from NATO) nor about an *imminent* ascension of Ukraine into NATO. Long term red line simply means, RU wanted to prevent this

Is the Ukraine war crushing Russia’s economy? Quite the opposite As usual, I’d quibble about the title (we can’t understate the systemic damage being sone to the economy, regardless of how individuals currently feel) but here’s my latest for The Times and The Sunday Times thetimes.com/world/russia-u…
