First things first: Starting with building the atelier, the base and back of the cathedral by flattening the ground and placing the foundations ! #castlestory #NotreDame #sauropodstudio #PNDOCS🏗️

🪜Update on the Apse of Notre Dame of Castle Story: After the scaffolds were place, the workers were able to lift the columns up and rise the blocks to what will me the height of ground floor. Up Next: Placing the blocks above the columns to finish the 1st floor level #PNDOCS 🪜

🪜SITE UPDATE: First floor of the Apse of the monument is done✅Time for workers to put some lights down there // Also time to build the columns above and try to find that cathedral shape. Blue prints for the scaffolds help a lot but still tricky 🤯 Atelier looks smaller already!

🪜SITE UPDATE: The Apse second floor is now complete // Time to add height to the scaffolds and build the highest walls, bow arches, and buttress // As in the Middle Ages, the goal is to complete the Apse first and then build forward to the entrance towers 🏗 #PNDOCS

🪜SITE UPDATE: The Apse is almost complete! We will now be able to build forward toward the bell towers // The completion of the buttress is really complexe but the result is really satisfying // We built a new atelier further away to let the site free 🏗

⛪️HISTORY FACT: Most of the Cathedrals were built starting from the back. Once the apse was built, the construction moved forward until the bell towers. Here is an illustration of how it used to look like🏗 #PNDOCS

🏗️SITE UPDATE: Moving on! We are now building the transepts that cross the Cathedral length, and give the building this Latin cross shape⛪️ We are almost done the first floor #PNDOCS #Cathedral
