Satoshi Oyama was the Burmese-language specialist that I worked with in April 2013 when I visited Plaid Japan. I am still very thankful for the help that Japan provided with Myanmar’s reform. Oyama was a part of that success, he was an outstanding translator.

At this time the National League for Democracy is not backing Cardinal Charles Bo of Yangon’s comments on Western Societies

An amendment to the previous statement made, we are not refuting or agreeing with the Cardinal, simply stating that his quotes were made of his own accord. Safe travels Cardinal.

Currently in the Capital of Myanmar, Naypyidaw. These allegations against me are quite frankly absurd and outrageous. I’m sure the UN will find no wrong doing in my actions.

Currently getting prepared to sit in front of panel, they are accusing me of atrocities committed in my great country, blaming me for them. They have no evidence against me!

Still in Myanmar, just got word that Canada will be stripping me of my honorary citizenship. Disgraceful!

Working in Naypyidaw, currently in talks with China regarding a trade plan! More information to come in the near future.

Myanmar and China are currently negotiating a five year plan on eceonomic and trade cooperation under the belt and road initiative.

I regret to inform the public that I will not be attending the ASEAN Summit in Plaid Singapore. President Wyint will be representing Burma in my place.

If the EU extends the arms embargo for another year, Burma will be at a huge loss. Our military will be at the biggest loss, because their training regimen will be affected.

Had the most amazing day at home with friends and family! Dug into some authentic Burmese food and reflected on our childhoods!

True change within Plaid Myanmar comes from healthy compromise within Parliament. The Tatmadaw cannot simply veto every proposal.

Spent this Friday with team further developing the mental health campaign that will be in place next year. Looking forward to making progress in the Burmese health care system!
