The Chunk of Devon Kickin' Chicken Curry pie has a lovely creamy curry content and pleased to say the buttery shortcrust that Chunk are known for was a pleasure when cooked properly. Good to see after the pie at Exeter Football was somewhat cremated.

The Chunk of Devon Veggie Tagine pie had a pleasing array of veg in a tasty, sweet yet tangy sauce. The vegan pastry isn't quite the same as their normally buttery pastry but was good in it's own right with a nice biscuity crunch and a more wholesome taste. It held together too!

Epic pie night with MYPIE pies. Some who had never tried MYPIE before claimed they were the best steak pie and best chicken pie they had ever had. A couple of new ones for us that were nice and spicy! The tandoori broccoli was very tasty 👏

That disappointment when you realise your otherwise good looking pie is mostly filled with air.... Today's disappointment came courtesy of Chef & Brewer Wheatstone Inn Mushroom and Ale pie.
