Incredible amount of pride in our profession today after #TherapyLive, we are fortunate to have such a great free event, well done to the organisers Physio Matters. Also thankful to @ACECIC for allowing so many of us to attend, good to see so many colleagues take part.

In our opinion, one of the reasons for the unwarranted variation in MSK practice is a culture of ‘politeness’ which gives cover to substandard care. We are far more offended by the poor care many patients face than any joke at our expense. We recommend this standard. 5/5

Hey Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) how about you scrap this ridiculous rebranding nonsense and poll members about what they think the pillars should be! I’ll start.. 1. Patient Centred Management 2. Evidence Informed Care 3. Exercise & Rehab 4. Communication & Coaching csp.org.uk/news/2020-07-2…

Unfortunately you’re showing your ignorance and arrogance Rachel. Self referral to Physio is safe and effective since the conditions you described can be understood and triaged even by lowly non-medics. Politicians sometimes bait inter-professional wars but let’s not indulge.
