Turns out you can actually win with kids don't let anyone tell you otherwise What PSG has done here is validation of that Todd Boehly and Chelsea are not crazy for attempting to replicate that formula

Need to get this deal done asap before Liverpool begin to get more funds from selling their deadwood. We cannot allow this deal to drag on imo otherwise we will lose out šŸ‘€

I really, really don't get the hate around Jamie Gittens. Another "City prospect" I've followed (albeit less extensively than some of my other shouts), and I think he is England's future starting Left Winger. Profile is exactly what Chelsea need. A high volume, confident

So Gittens it is. As far as profile goes I cant complain. If you are signing Ekitike then you surround him with goal scorers. Gittens, Palmer & Estevao are all shot-heavy guys who want to shoot & score. Finally will have a left-sided 1v1 demon that can reliably create

I vehemently do not want any ā€˜marquee’ signings at this club moving forwards in all fairness…keep them away

In all fairness, I think with a season in CL, with this new squad, cementing top 4 is the most realistic target for us really. It’s not a guarantee either especially with playing better clubs in Europe so we need to humble ourselves again imo

I see it’s that time of year where everyone loses their mind and shit for every random line written in transfer news articles and reports, which have historically a 5-10% accuracy rate. Put on the Ornstein notification on and that should be enough for the summer.

He’s not my favourite player and is very frustrating to watch as he’s so inconsistent but icl, we should be keeping him for another season or two at least…I’d expect a very, very tempting offer to let him go at this stage

Phil (@philly_woo87) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I share the exact same sentiments as well tbf. I just hate the possibility of selling to a rival with the dreaded anticipation that they perform really well 🫣

The only place we should even consider sending Ugochukwu if it’s not staying at Chelsea is either a full season loan to Strasbourg or a permanent sale with a buy back that helps both sides. Think he needs full first team mins this year and Strasbourg could certainly use him after

I cannot see Manchester United’s aura ever evaporating certainly in my lifetime. They are just a core fundamental element of football. They sit at the top table with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, PSG, etc regardless of their current state. They are inevitable.

Mbeumo DOUBLED his goal tally out of his npxG (15npG out of 7.5npxG). The odds of that happening are 1% or 2%. He was an xG underperformer in all previous seasons. Utd are buying last season’s 2 biggest npxG/G anomalies - paying peak value money. He’s also 26 in August.
