Adams said he wants Seth Appert to be totally locked in with Rochester, but he's a big believer in Seth Appert.

Adams said Thompson will probably have to miss the World Championships with his injury.

Adams said he's going to tell the players that the time is now. The message will be to challenge the players.

Adams said, 'We are craving accountability and structure and I think the team is ready for that.'

Adams said other coaches look at this team as an opportunity.

Adams said he will have the final decision, but he'll lean on Terry Pegula and Karmanos too.

Adams said he wants the next head coach to have experience and can push them to the next level. He said he has a very clear direction and previous head coaching experience is important.

Adams said the three retained on the coaching staff were retained for a reason, but maybe doing different things. He'll work through that with the next head coach.

We weren't competing game in and game out, our standard has to be higher.

Adams said he never felt it was the right time to do this during the season. He said this is on the players and it's on him and this was his decision and he felt this is what he needed to do.

Adams said it's time to take the next step and he wanted to give the team every chance to do that and that's why he was patient.

Adams said, It just wasn't good enough, they underperformed were inconsistent and they needed to be better.
