I adore being part of the Pelli team, and ever since I wrote my first feature for the mag in 2019 I’ve loved writing for Pelli too. Dead chuffed that my profile of The Salutation Inn made the top 10 this year—one of my favourite ever pieces of work, on my favourite pub.

It’s the Sally Alley Quiz tonight from 7.45pm with all proceeds going to the Berkeley Guides. Up to six people per team and entry is £4/head. The winners get beer and gloating rights for a month, everyone else gets a chip butty and an inferiority complex. Ideal stuff.

We are so excited to welcome Billy in the Lowground back to the Sally tonight! Having supported the likes of Shane MacGowan and Fairport Convention and performed at numerous festivals up and down the country this is a band not to be missed!!

I am at my favourite pub and I am very happy.

Tomorrow night we’ll have these little crackers from Ross Cider ready for you to get stuck into! Raison d’Etre and Foxwhelp are two of our all time favourite ciders. Albert Johnson from Ross will be here to explain all about these game changing ciders from 7pm. See you there!

We had the most amazing night Yew Tree Peterstow. If you haven’t been to this pub yet, you need to go ASAP. Delicious beer, stunning cider and the most lovely people. We’ll be a part of the nationwide launch of the 2021 vintage of Ross Cider Raison D’Etre this Thursday!
