Why do they grow up so fast ? ☹️ This photo came up in Hang Tran phone memory this week. G and Alice, both now entrenched in Y7 at their respective secondary schools, and still very good friends. The years certainly seem to pass quicker as you get older !!

I first went on Sydney harbour 36y ago (fresh out of country Taranaki), and have now lived in Sydney for 8y, but still get a buzz every time. It’s certainly a beautiful city landscape.

Gillian’s first out door cricket net of the season this morning and Chilli dog is absolutely stuffed. I swear she hasn’t move an inch in about 3 hours 😂🤣. Like the rest of the family stacks on the kg over winter then walks laps of the oval all weekend in summer 😊 🏏

We caught up with Alice on Saturday night for the first time in some months. After a good laugh at the old photo, I convinced them to recreate it as best they could. I hope I get the pleasure of doing this again in another 8y 😊

Not sure what’s going on at the neighbours these past few days but there’s literally been hundreds of cockatoo’s, galah’s and corella’s all over their lawn (morning and evening).🤷🏻‍♂️

I 🩵 this team - unbeaten this summer!! Beat Manly in the U15 NSW State GF at Hurstville oval on Sunday, and then beat the best NSW Country girls at Raby on Wednesday. All players contributing, never rolling over, always in the game…..The U13 also unbeaten thus far 😊🏏

✅ off a bucket list this week with a visit to Shadai Stallions. Equinox (pictured), Kizuna, Kitasan Black, Epiphaneia, Maurice….the only one we didn’t get to see was Lord Kanaloa (he doesn’t like visitors 😂). The proverbial kid in a lollie shop. Happy as !! 🙏🙏 Shadai.
