I recently saw Weapons (2025) & I still can’t stop thinking about it. The film is clearly influenced by Kurosawa’s Rashomon (1950)—I love the multiple-perspective storytelling, but kind of wish it leaned more into the unreliable-perspective angle to really push the effect.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) makes the fatal mistake of not just being bad but being boring and way too serious. Could have been a blast but was just so painfully unfun and boooring!! I'm sorry but this was one of the worst sequel /requel /reboots I've seen recently.

Just watched Eddington (2025) , obviously has an amazing cast but some may have been underutilized. And I think it might have been made a few years too soon to be truly appreciated. Have any of you guys seen it yet, what are your thoughts?

Everyone was big mad when they cast Kirsten Dunst to play Marie Antoinette! Now that movie has a huge cult following &even though there was historical inaccuracies, the vibes were so immaculate and it surpassed expectations. Let's give this one a fair chance ffs.

Today in movie history Sept 6, the thriller/horror Swimfan (2002) had its North American release! This was basically Fatal Attraction in a varsity jacket. Have you guys seen this teen chiller? Cult classic or dead in the water?

On this day, Sept 8, Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho (1960) was released in the U.S. 🪓🚿 Fun fact: Hitchcock bought up as many copies of Robert Bloch’s novel as he could just so audiences wouldn’t know the ending. A master of suspense! What's your favorite Hitchcock film?

The villain in the Netflix doc Unknown Number: The High School Catfish, is scarier than some of the best horror movie villains I've EVER seen. But those kids need some real time to process wtf happened to them. They're still teenagers. Jail time for everyone involved.

Today in horror movie history: Sept 15, the mystery neo-noir The Black Dahlia (2006) was released. Loosely based on the infamous 1940s grisly murder case, it was critically panned. Have you seen it? Time for a remake, or should this story be left to rest in peace?
