Great panel at #srs24 chaired by Patricia Russell, PhD. Nate Kimbrel presented on predictors of geographical hotspots for #vet #suicide. Most consistent predictors were distance from VA, % of females divorced, % pop moved states in the last year, white identity, and live at altitude.
Today at #srs24 Patricia Russell, PhD gave an outstanding presentation on current implementation of #veteran #suicideprevention into community agencies. Conclusion: of 13 organizations, none were on par with VA for Veteran suicide prevention. RockyMountain MIRECC CU Physical Medicine
