Fascinating new article (Ohio State Law Journal forth'g) by Justice Pat DeWine on how to interpret the Ohio Constitution, exploring sources of original public meaning in Ohio and engaging with Judge Sutton's 51 imperfect solutions: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…

Thanks to Lawrence Solum for rating my piece on Ohio Constitutional Interpretation as "interested, sophisticated, and highly recommended." And most of all, I am grateful that he generously gave his time to discuss the article with me.

Sad news. Steve did great work in studying and writing about the Ohio Constitution. He was a tireless promoter of the importance of understanding our state charter.
