Fog testing continues starting Mon., 9/22. 3rd area will take about 1 week. Fog is blown into sanitary sewers to look for defects & may come from vent stacks on buildings or sewers. It is non-toxic, not a fire hazard & dissipates quickly. More info call Public Works 847-705-5200.

Public Works will begin its Curbside Leaf Collection Program on Mon., 10/27. Each single-family residence has 3 pickups between the weeks of 10/27 & 11/17. Leaves must be in the street by 7 AM on scheduled Mondays. Look up collection dates & guidelines at palatine.il.us/235/Leaf-Colle….
