Yeah, I just prefer cave bears with scaly skin. I know the “scientists” say they had fur but they just look so lame with it. How is anyone supposed to be scared of a creature covered in fuzz?

Yes, the #Eotyrannus monograph is FINALLY out. Some decades of backstory. Not talking about it much yet because press events were planned and am awaiting news. But more soon... peerj.com/articles/12727/ #Cretaceous #dinosaurs #theropods #tyrannosaurs #fossils #Wealden

Came upon a juvenile Tyrannosaurus replica on loan to the Dinosaur Isle Museum at Sandown yesterday. Does anyone know which specimen this is based on? It looks more robust than Jane.

I also met part of the Eotyrannus material at the Dinosaur Isle, Sandown. For behind the scenes info on this species, I recommend checking out Darren Naish ‘s Patreon.

Been looking at some of the #HellCreek liriodendroids recently and thought I might have a go at restoring a #Liriodendrites #flower. I've restored it as an intermediate between #Archaeanthus and #Liriodendron. #paleoart #paleobotany #plants #cretaceous #dinosaur

Finally had the chance to sit down and watch #PrehistoricPlanet and OMG! The shedding mosasaurs are inspired; the sense of mortality for juvenile members of species often depicted as invincible is en pointe; and the titanosaur behaviours are bold but believable. Great job, all.

Dear Westminster City Council , could you please explain to me the convenient ramp access leading to a station with no step-free access? My 94 year old Nan and I had quite the adventure trying to get out of Pimlico Station. Thanks

A reminder that the actual original #London #Archaeopteryx fossil is on show at Natural History Museum -- yes, the actual real fossil. Check out these detailed shots (one of which shows the counterslab), it's amazing... 1/2
