Our staff at King George Hospital were thrilled to receive 8 new nebulisers, kindly donated by Asthma Relief Charity. These devices help patients with asthma or chronic respiratory issues breathe more easily - especially during severe attacks. #AsthmaRelief #PatientCare #Charity

We were delighted to welcome Duncan Burton to Queen’s Hospital to present an award to the family of the late Vikki Thorpe and to meet with staff in A&E and maternity. bhrhospitals.nhs.uk/news/award-pre…

It was an honour to present Vikki Thorpe's family a posthumous CNO award in recognition of her work as a nurse to tackle inequalities in women’s health services. Vikki’s passion and commitment led to real and lasting improvements and had a positive impact on those around her.

Karen & Andrea visited some of the wards at Queens Hospital today to engage with staff on recognising pain in people living with dementia, and to introduce the use of the adapted Abbey Pain Scale as a supportive assessment tool. Together we can make a difference on the wards.

Congratulations to Petra Francis, Matron for Women’s Health, for winning our You Made a Difference award. Petra was nominated for being a supportive leader and working tirelessly to improve staff development in the department.
