On this day in 1964, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. accepted the Nobel Peace Prize at 35 years old. On this same day in 1993, Nelson Mandela and F.W. de Klerk accepted the Nobel Peace Prize. During his address, Mandela quoted Dr. King's acceptance speech and honored his life's work.
