Back at the @Barrattplc Z House today to look around properly. Supported under the AIMCH project it demonstrates #netzerobuildings tech on a standard Barratt home. #TransformingConstruction

The innovations are built in and are being monitored to determine what works best.

Built using closed panel timber frames and even the brickwork was prepared offsite. No bricklayers were used. Roof was built on the ground with PV and batteries integrated then lifted into place. Energy balance with the grid is monitored.

Includes vehicle to grid charging partnered with Nissan and Octopus.
