On 1/18/24 the REACH students were invited into Ms. Demark's room to meet her critters. The students had the opportunity to get up close and personal and learn about the different species of frog and toad, hissing cockroaches, and her python. Thank you Ms. Demark!

The Kindness Club has been celebrating the month of February by doing Random Acts of Kindness at OHS. Here members created sticky notes with inspiring messages to be the "i" in KIND. Students were encouraged to make or "Take And Give A Note Of Kindness" randomly to others 😊 ❤️

Mme Abel's French classes and the World Language club had fun last week making "les crêpes" for the French holiday "La Chandeleur" that takes place each February. The World Language Club also had worked in Chef T's kitchen with the Culinary Club to make crêpes as well :)

Congrats on the achievements of the OHS Future Business Leaders of America students! Members attended the State Conference on 3/12 & competed in subjects including: Economics, Business Calculations, Insurance/Risk Management, Coding/Programming, & Computer Game Simulation.

14 Biomedical Magnet students traveled to Princeton University to participate in the International Brain Bee Competition. Juniors, Ava Mokienko and Aiden Hauta, along with Sophomore, Sakif Islam made it to the top 20. While Sophomore Kaitlyn Ho made it to the final 10.

The Greater Egg Harbor Indoor Color Guard took home 1st place this weekend at Kingsway Regional High School. With only 2 weeks and 2 competitions left in the season, they're excited to finish strong! 🏴🥇💪

Yesterday, Coles Music brought Dr. Quincy Hilliard to Oakcrest High School to work with the students of the band. Dr. Hilliard is a world famous composer, clinician, and music educator, and the student musicians had a great time learning from and working with him. 🎺🎶🥁

Oakcrest Media and Film students visited New York City this week for a tour of the CBS News studios from Oakcrest alum and anchor Matt Pieper. The behind-the-scenes look at the facilities was awesome, and a great time was had by all!
