The Australian Nurses Memorial Centre is pleased to announce that applications for the 2024 Vivian Bullwinkel Award, valued at $20,000, are now open. The prestigious award honours one of the founders of the ANMC and is generously supported by Vivian's nephew Mr John Bullwinkel.

Lieutenant Colonel Vivian Bullwinkel AO MBE ARRC ED passed away on 3 July 2000, aged 84 years. Her service to Australia, to the nurses who died and were made prisoners of war during WWII, and to the nursing profession, will never be forgotten.
