10. Anger costs too much Almost every serious mistake I've made over the last 2 decades can be tied to me losing my temper. If I'd kept my cool, I could have made better choices, even if it takes a decade to realize that. Anger is expensive. Don't pay that unless you must.

14. Say thanks. I employ 6 people these days. I make time every week to call out work everyone did and say "thanks" for it. I thank my kids for bringing me a cup of water, my wife for every meal, and so on. Just because it's *expected* doesn't mean you can't be thankful.

18. Show up often Doing something for 1 month is probably not gonna change your life. Doing it for 5 years just might. A lot of success as a business or a person comes from being known for doing a particular thing consistently and well. Show up. Often. And win by enduring.

19. Get back up When you fail big it hurts. People saw you screw up. You don't even want to see another person, you're so mortified. But they'll forget about you in a few weeks. Their own problems matter more to them than yours. So get back up & try again.

I know it's cheesy but I'm thankful for the friends I've made and the family I got to be with. After seeing my Grandma who has pretty advanced dementia today it helped to put things into perspective. We only have now. Cherish it. Happy Thanksgiving โค๏ธ

A year ago I asked myself, Why write when everything has already been said? I grappled with this question and discovered 5 of the best reasons to write anyway: ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ‘‡

Tough time focusing on one task? Isolate the window and clear out anything that's overstimulating you. Trust me, it worksโœŒ๏ธ
