In the last 24 hours, 641 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Washtenaw County. This is the highest 24-hour case count we’ve ever had (by far). We’re seeing the impact of the Omicron variant and we should all be layering up prevention strategies.

Just in: Mich. health dept will keep its quarantine/isolation recs intact for now & wait for more info from CDC, review evidence supporting cut to 5 days. K-12 guidance, 10 days for infected kids, stays. State waiting for CDC guidance on special populations, high-risk settings.
