They could have use the 80th Anniversary to its fullest potential by making other engines like Gordon and Edward or even making sets with its on dedicated track range. Face variants, Engine variants, Returnees and such would have sold much better than repackaged 3 year old toys.

This might be a wild guess on my part but I think S3 of Thomas was split because they need 16 new episodes, alongside the episodes Ringo didn't narrate, for S2 of STS to get kids to watch so it won't be just repeats of Thomas episodes that Ringo Starr narrated in the 1st season.

any season past 9 is brainrot, at least in my eyes

carty™ they said they were going for a season 4 style but it takes like 5 minutes to see the ones they did don’t look anything like the official title cards do drop shadow isn’t angled, wrong color of yellow, etc. they have access to the true assets & still don’t use them properly

AND EVEN THEN. My friend Adam and I made proper masters for all of the songs and arguably better versions of R&R and 'Friends' a few months ago --- we really wanted to go for the time period aesthetic so we replicated the 'Playtime' video font for series 4-

We even did Thomas Anthem Grand Finale with lyrics. Other stuff etc. It is very disappointing to see them re-editing the music videos from scratch too and completing ignoring the creative decisions that went into editing them in the first place, Britt, David etc. Not happy.

I wonder if SpongeBob fans know this
