Zohran's inspiring campaign showed what grassroots movements can achieve when we fight for bold policies. His focus on government serving the people—not billionaires—will make life more affordable for NYC. I strongly support Zohran Kwame Mamdani. He’ll be a fantastic mayor!

You don’t get a Zohran Kwame Mamdani victory without the extraordinary grassroots movement that rallied around him. And you don’t get that movement without an economic agenda that speaks to the needs of working people. My op-ed on Zohran's victory:

It is disheartening to see today that the strength of international law and humanitarian law no longer seems binding, replaced by the presumed right to overpower others. This is unworthy and shameful for humanity and for the leaders of nations.

The passing of a legend: Bill Moyers, a former press secretary to President Lyndon B. Johnson who turned into a longtime broadcast journalist and champion of public media, has died at age 91. His son tells me Moyers died of complications from a long illness.

Just went 1-on-1 with Zohran Kwame Mamdani. Asked about concerns I'm hearing from New Yorkers: 🤔How are you going to actually run the city & keep big promises? Would you compromise to get stuff done? 👉"Delivering something in its infancy is better than delivering nothing at all."

President Trump has ratcheted up his rhetorical battle over recent US airstrikes in Iran by having an attorney send legal letters to CNN and The New York Times demanding retractions of accurate reports. CNN responded to the letter by rejecting the claims in it. So did the NYT.

The unhinged racism and xenophobia from my Republican colleagues truly knows no bounds. This is disgraceful behavior from a Member of Congress, but sadly, exactly what we've come to expect from this caucus.

Breaking: In a 6-3 ruling, the conservative justices just ruled that nationwide injunctions likely exceed the authority Congress has given the courts. In doing so, the Court is narrowing nationwide injunctions that blocked Trump's executive order ending birthright citizenship.
