As young people are locked out of housing, this is manifestly unfair. The system has to change.

The UK owes £40K per person. We have to spend less. Or the market will force us to.

Labour are failing on home building 🏚️ Only the Conservatives are supporting the homes young people need, where they need them🏡

Young people are getting a raw deal in so many ways. Housing, tax, wage depression. There’s a growing one - the national debt time bomb.

This is our trajectory, crippling the young in favour of the old.

We have no growth, a huge deficit, and chronic underinvestment in infrastructure. Yet the triple lock gives an inflation busting £560 pension rise. Please someone explain how it adds up 🤯

England does not have anything like enough homes and is crying out for more nature. The status quo is not working. Outputs are king, with the outcomes we need to see lost to paperwork. Want more development? More nature? Both? We need to reform the planning system.

We should build millions of these. Millions. So much of London is unremarkable and two storeys tall. We have the formula for nice looking gentle density. We’ve had it for centuries. It’s not rocket science. Build it up.

London’s housing pipeline is grinding to a halt. Just 2,158 private homes were started in the first half of 2025—less than 5% of the government’s target Planning approvals have collapsed to their lowest level since records began in 2006. If we want young people to get on,

We know the solutions. Gentle density, planning reform, political will. Let’s just do it.

This is the right decision in the national interest. Now let’s get the third runway at Heathrow fast-tracked. Build. Build. Build.
