First is our Dairy Education Farm located on Lake Wheeler Road. Of our 308 cows, we are milking 119 Holsteins and 33 Jerseys.

The NCSU farm produces about 1200 gallons of high quality milk per day - all going into our fantastic Howling Cow dairy products!

Our Howling Cow milk and ice cream are processed in the Feldmeier Dairy Processing Lab located right on the main campus in Schaub Hall.

Construction began this week on NCSU's new milking parlor at the Lake Wheeler Dairy Research & Teaching Farm & should be done by this fall!

Once in our new parlor, we begin construction of the Randleigh Dairy Museum focusing on our Jersey Herd heritage & dairy in North Carolina.

The Randleigh Museum is our flagship project to launch the new dairy education visitor center. See it all at www.howlingcow.com
