The rise in the rankings of the Gerald G. Fox UNCC MPA program is a tribute to an outstanding faculty but also to our entire MPA community of alumni and practitioners leaders who work with and support us on a continuing basis!

We are saddened to share that Dr. Jeffrey Brudney, a professor at UNCW MPA Program and former NCPAA board member, has passed away. Dr. Brudney was a powerful force for good government and public administration in NC and he will be missed.

Just realized today is my last day as president of NCPAA. It’s been fun getting the organization up and running over the past three years, but I’m excited to be turning the reigns over to Hunter Bacot at UNCGMPA!

The MPA program is so excited to have Willow Jacobson be our next MPA Director! She will begin her role in September and will be the first woman to hold the position. We are so excited to see how great our program becomes under Dr. Jacobson's leadership.

The UNC MPA program is introducing identity and interest groups for all MPA students. DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) is one of the pillars of the MPA strategic goal. Students can learn more about these groups and begin these groups with the link in our bio.
