In Somerset County at #WeWillRecover. Last night, I announced OAG’s Treatment Outreach Initiative – leveraging law enforcement relationships to connect people suffering from addiction to treatment.

This initiative is dedicated to tackling the #OpioidEpidemic through a multidisciplinary approach. While we are merciless against those who peddle this poison, we must show compassion to those suffering from addiction and seeking help.

We’re launching this program in Somerset, PA. If you are suffering from addiction, you can come to the police station. Unless you have outstanding warrants, you will not be arrested - officers will guide you to a local treatment provider.
