Unexpected colours and fabrics transform a kitchen from utilitarian space to a cosy room for living. Here we used russet velvet stools, vibrant photography and sophisticated accessories. I love placing an oversized floral arrangement on the counter for dramatic impact.

Love seeing The 22.london listed as the top hotel in London by @condenasttraveller. It’s my favourite place for lunch (and dinner) where the cool blue palette feels summery fresh.

This colourful @Tighemiconcept coffee table is handmade in Morocco. The vivid glazed colours add a pop to an otherwise tranquil patio.

The golden bar cabinet in this Miami home adds a special touch to the warm space. Metal finish are classically neutral but bold and can elevate a design. A bar cabinet should be well-stocked with a variety of glassware.

A fresh and vibrant kitchen with bespoke wooden bar stools in an espresso finish and natural jute rope, a sharp teal tile backsplash, and crisp white walls. As ever, the space is brought to life by the artwork.

Our original sketch for the restaurant of The 22.london. Swipe to see the result. We used four shades of blue on the walls to highlight aspects the panelling. I designed the bespoke chandeliers in cadets of handblown blue glass and brass.

I love an outdoor shower, especially when nestled in greenery and made of natural materials. The creamy travertine contrasts with the oxidized metals walls. The vintage folding chair adds a rustic touch.

Pendant lights need to be functional but also beautiful. The semi-precious stones in the Sputnik-style pendant in this Miami home echoing the vibrant colours in the artwork by Cuban artist Diana Fonseca.

One of my favourite parts of designing a home is creating a library. Here we created a floating credenza and shelving inspired by 1960’s design, The Branco e Preto jacaranda-wood chairs and vintage marble side tables.

This is one of my favourite dining rooms. I feel all the different elements come together well. The custom brass-and-bronze pendant and the textured lacquer dining table are both my design. In the backdrop, a Gustavo Acosta painting injects the room with energy.

A collage of artworks created by a diverse group of artists injects colour and freeform movement in this London sitting room. Vintage travertine coffee tables sit next to a custom sofa.

The tiny space allocated for this London powder room was a challenge. We managed to squeeze a custom-made marble sink under the window and added a charming floral wallpaper. The painting is by one of my client’s family members and adds a playful texture to the room.

I love outdoor entertaining and use bamboo chairs and simple flowers to make a cosy setting for a casual dinner with friends. Lots of candles are essential! Everyone looks their best in candlelight.

The asymmetrical columns with a liquefied bronze-gold finish and textured timber shelfs create a one-of-a-kind piece for a London apartment. A collection of artisanal ceramics in neutral tones, made by British crafters, is an effective contrast.

I loved designing these custom bubble glass and gold leaf wall lights. Above all I wanted the glass to look like a glass of champagne. I think of lighting as the jewellery in a room – you have to have the right pieces and not too much.

The narrow entrance hall of this London apartment has a moody palette to magnify the experience of entering the spacious, light-filled dining-living room to come. The smoky blue wallpaper is Pierre Frey.

Deep armchairs, a wood-burning stove, and a cocktail cabinet feature in this elegant oak barn in the grounds of a country house. The rich colourway of dark grey, mustard, petrol blue, crimson and taupe enhance its cozy.
