On October 12th, #MRCS provided vital support to 104 flood-affected households in #Sinbaungwe Township, #Magway. 🏠 The assistance included mosquito nets, tarpaulins, blankets, and male & female hygiene kits to help families recover. 🙏 #FloodRelief

Recently, MRCS distributed 354M kyats in food vouchers to 5,058 displaced people in #Sittwe, #Rakhine. Each voucher, worth 70,000 kyats, provided rice, oil, chickpeas, and salt. This support, across 26 shelters, was made possible with help from the #German and #NorwegianRedCross.

As a result of the #flood in #Myittha, #Mandalay, there is a heightened risk of #diarrhea in the community. Our RCVs have recently been distributing diarrhea prevention pamphlets and conducting health awareness sessions to protect and inform them about the necessary precautions.
