Class Two have taken part in the Debate of the week! The question this week was: “should school holidays be longer?” The vote was unanimously ‘yes’. The children discussed the reasons for their votes with the class.

This morning, Class 5 enjoyed a lovely autumn morning walk. ☀️ 🍂

This week, in their Lego Therapy session, Class 1 worked on set building in their different roles. Using brilliant concentration, listening and teamwork skills, they created some amazing creatures.

This afternoon, Class 4 enjoyed using mud as face paint and used their imagination to pretend to be in the army!

This week, in their Forest School session, Class 1 went on a mini beast hunt. Using a magnifying glass the children searched under logs and around the forest. It was then exploring time before enjoying a hot chocolate. 🔍🔍🪱🐛

Class 5 are focusing on team work and gross motor skills during their weekly Sports session.

This morning, School Council visited our local park. We cared for the environment by doing some litter picking. Then we enjoyed some free time enjoying the park! #schoolcouncil

Class 3 have been drawing and colouring leaves in Art this week. ✏️🍁🍂

This week in PE, Class 2 have been working on our balancing skills. #sports

Class 2 have some excellent helpers this week. We have been checking on the chickens and making sure their coop is clean! #farmers

This morning, the children in Class 4 helped out on the farm. The children were super farmers and did so much to help all of the animals. 🐷 🐑 🦙

The children in Class 4 have been super mathematicians by using their maths skills to partition numbers up to 10,000! 🔢

Class 1 worked on their teamwork skills this afternoon in Forest School. First, they played a game of hide and seek. Next, working together, they helped rescue the stranded animals and get them across the stream! It was then exploring time before a hot chocolate. 🐌🐛🐥🐞

Class 5 have been working hard on coding during Computing Club. They have been exploring Bee-Bots & Edisons. Good work Class 5!

Class 3 have been recapping our previous learning about common and proper nouns. We worked as a team to organise different words into the right category. Well done Class 3! 😊

The children in Class 4 have been learning how to play the ukulele. The children have all tried so hard throughout and can now play along to a well known song. 🎵 🎶

In our Forest School session, Class 4 focused on lighting their own mini fires. The children focused on the safety aspects of fires and made sure they had their safety equipment ready. 🔥 🪵 🔥

Class 3 enjoyed their session in the forest yesterday! They were very persistent when attempting to light their own small fires. Well done Class 3! 🔥

This week, on the Farm, Class 2 have been mucking out the pigs. Using their fantastic teamwork skills, they scooped up all the pig poo and tipped it into the muck pile. Great job Class 2. 🐖🐖🐖🐖
