On scene of a fire in a garage near Cedar Lake Road and Hopkins Crossroad, garage was evacuated and there are no apparent injuries at this time. Fire is out and crews are working to ventilate the building.

☀️It's going to be nice this weekend! If you plan on cleaning up your yard, please keep in mind that burning brush, leaves and yard waste is prohibited by the city. Public Works provides a brush drop off open now. Spring yard waste and leaf collection is open until May 10th.
