We celebrate #hispanicheritagemonth every year from September 15th-October 15th! Our tigers have been loving the special read aloud of Paletero Man! I’m loving all of the buzz about our new bulletin boards & displays to get our tigers pumped about Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉🎉🎉

I am so proud of our tigers for participating in this book drive! This was a great opportunity to talk about being a servant leader and a compassionate citizen! ❤️ It was such a pleasure getting the opportunity to help bring Elsa’s Gold Service Award Project to life.

I am truly blessed to be a part of the CME family. My students never cease to amaze me with their kindness. They are truly my why. On the toughest days, they remind me why I became a teacher in the first place. Thankful, grateful, and blessed.

Our CME Library has teamed up with Sugar Land Animal Services to put on a donation drive for their shelter animals! During Dogtober we give back, spread awareness, and make a difference. Students can bring any items they want to donate to the shelter to the library next week.🐶🐕

We’ve had so much fun celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with our interactive read alouds this month! We’ve also enjoyed remembering how important it is to be yourself just like Thelma! We’ve compared & contrasted Federico and the Wolf to Little Red Riding Hood!
