My work team and I disagreed with dropping masks in March so we have had a mask policy for staff and customers since then. Now, everyone is calling for mask mandates and the govt says ‘no, never again’. Well, guess what? You can be like us and not wait for mandates.

A woman just took a picture of me on the subway and didn’t realize her flash was on. She’s now avoiding making eye contact with me, but not to worry I got some selfies so the internet can see how ~weird~ I look.

I turned 33 today, and have Long Covid. By 34, I don’t know if I will be healthy or bedridden with crippling fatigue. Governments don’t want to hear about this and doctors can’t help. If you think this is unacceptable please RT. If you are in the same situation please like.

One of the most traumatising things about being house/bedbound, is the feeling you’re disappearing from the world, while still alive. Human beings have an innate need to be seen & heard, & anyone who is too unwell to participate in the world, is struggling to have that need met.

In 2023 no person should have to explain wearing a face mask for their health or the health of the people they love and the community they live in. Ever. Stop.
