We had a blast at Springridge farm today! Our grade 1 students learned about bees, planted seeds, fed some animals.... and went on a tractor ride! What a day.

Grade 1s were building homes today using 3D figures. They were given a list of figures to include and asked to identify 2D shaped they saw within the figures. Creativity meets teamwork and Geometry in this outdoor building challenge.

Our students loved the Red Sky Performance last week. What a beautiful story about reconciliation.

Wow. Amazing work Grade 2s!!! Thank you for organizing Walk in Her Shoes at our school @mstamteach and @mrsoolup! Our 2s loved learning about each step that resulted in providing access to clean drinking water for 6 families.

Here are some of the Grade 1 water lilies inspired by the great painter Calude Monet. We learned about Monet's impressionist painting style and talked about cool colours before starting out own works of art. Nicely done!

"My sister goes to day care to learn new things, and two teachers help her" This student was asked to think of a place or service in the community that helps a family member. She built a day care out of lego and presented it to our class.

Thank you Peel Region for the presentation Friday about how water is cleaned and ways to conserve! We learned a lot.

Happy last day of school! Here we are doing our dance 🕺 for Canada day 🍁 at today's assembly.
