Placement and educational decisions made about a student, forever impact their life trajectory. If a student is segregated right now, they will have significantly less opportunities with others and to be in community after graduation. We need to talk about this a lot more.

We have to fill out forms to have field trips approved. Why isn't it part of the process to plan for the inclusion of all? If the whole class can't go, a different field trip should be planned. It's not hard. Yet we see it happen every year.
