One of my littles from last year came to show me he passed his first spelling test! I was so happy to celebrate with him!!

This 8-year language arts teacher just had her first math small group!! I’m so proud of myself and these kids! 😁

I just pounded DayQuil with a Red Bull. If that isn’t the life of a teacher the week before Thanksgiving break then I don’t know what is.

Yesterday we applied our data collecting skills to learning bunco! I still can’t believe I managed to teach 2nd graders a game with so many rules 😅 we had a blast! We tallied our points then made a graph after!

Having a student-led book club discussion makes me so happy. So proud of these kiddos!!

“Mrs. Puffer, I wish I was an octopus so I could stick to you and stay with you forever” 🥹 the end of the school year is hard.

I laughed out loud when I opened this letter I wrote myself during inservice this year. 💀

Have had this for 4 years now and finally busted it out to use as an end of year behavior incentive. Two kids got 100 on their first try!!

Told one my kids that this time is special because she’ll never be 8 and in my class again. She said “Well, I will if I have a Time Machine.” So touched that she would use a Time Machine to come back to 2nd grade to be with me. 🩷
